Carpet Installer In Denver

As carpet wholesalers and installers, we guide our customers through various carpet qualities and types to help you find the perfect match for your needs and budget.

Why Carpeting?

Beautiful carpets are not only comfortable to walk on but also add a design element to your home. Weaver Carpets can provide a variety of colors, patterns, and textures that will embellish and enhance your home’s ambiance. Your personal style and the mood you want to create can be captured with carpeting. No matter what your style or budget, we have a variety of the most trusted brands to deliver the best carpet to meet your needs.

Our Process

First, one of us will meet you at the design center showroom where we can show you different styles and samples of carpet. We will explain all the different types of carpet available, the qualities of different fibers, how they will wear, and the different stain resistant processes which may be applied. At the end of this session, you will have a greater understanding of carpet and the importance of a top-notch installation.

Once you have made your decision, one of us will personally come to you, measure the space, and place the order directly with the carpet mill. By reducing the overhead expense, we can pass on an incredible amount of savings to you.

Next, we will arrange for the installation. Our team of installers have been with us for many years and have decades of experience. You can be assured of a professional, top quality installation.

Finally, we will follow up with you to make sure you are completely satisfied with the finished product. Our business continues to grow through your referrals, so we want to make sure you are completely satisfied!

Buyer Beware

There are many retailers in the marketplace who have made carpet shopping confusing because they don’t sell brand name carpet, but sell a private label which leaves you unsure of what you are really buying. Some even offer “free” services, but no one gives anything away for free! Make sure you are comparing apples to apples when considering your purchase so you can feel confident in what you are actually buying. And remember, even an excellent carpet can be ruined with a poor installation, so keep in mind the credentials of the installation team.

Focusing solely on price is not the way to go, because a poor installation or poor-quality carpet will not only cost you more in the long run, but you will soon be unhappy with the wearing of an inferior product or installation.

Quality NEVER costs as much as the money it saves!

What is the average time it takes to install carpet?

Due to the scope of work, each project has differing timelines. However, the typical installation of a carpet job takes 1-3 days. Some factors that can make a job take more or less time are as follows; moving of furniture, demo, number and size of rooms, upholstered stairs, curving staircases, etc.

What type of flooring do you specialize in?

Having been in business since 1958, that has allowed us to fully understand all the types of flooring that we specialize in. We have dedicated installation crews for each type of flooring project and they are experts in their field.

What is carpet made out of?

Carpets are usually made from one of three popular materials: nylon, polyester, and wool.

Nylon Fibers: Nylon remains the most popular carpet fiber. It is durable, static-free, and well-suited for indoor use. Often it’s treated with a stain-resistant technology to keep it looking beautiful through most messes that life has to offer. Nylon carpets also have a Class 1 fire rating, which means they melt instead of burning. This makes them extra safe.

Polyester Fibers: Polyester is made from recycled materials, which is a plus if you want an eco-friendly carpet. This fiber material is rising in popularity and giving nylon a run for its money. It’s more cost effective than nylon, but tends not to be as durable and long lasting.

Wool Fibers: Wool can be on the more expensive side of the fiber options. Wool is the only all natural fiber type, and is hypoallergenic which is a great solution in homes with allergies.

What is carpet face weight?

Face weight refers to a measurement of a carpet’s density. It is the weight (in ounces) of carpet per square yard. The higher the face weight, the more material has been used.

Is the pad that we select important for the life of the carpet?

Yes, the pad that is chosen is extremely important. Not only does it cushion your feet, but the density of the pad will also help insure the longevity of the carpet. We typically recommend an 8lb pad. In using an 8lb pad, this will typically make your carpet last 30% longer.

Is there carpet that is best suited for homes with pets?

Most mills have product lines for pet friendly homes. These product lines typically have a stain-resistant feature as well as offering hair resistant technology. The hair resistant technology is formulated to prevent pet hair from weaving in the carpet and causing your carpet to look hairy even after vacuuming.

What generally causes ripples and/or buckling?

Typically, it’s due to poor installation. If the carpet is not power stretched (especially in large scale rooms), it can happen not long after install. All of the installers at Weaver Carpets DO NOT take shortcuts, and take all the necessary steps to ensure install is 100% correct.

Carpet Cleaning/Maintenance

Cleaning your carpet is essential for helping it last as long as possible. When having your carpet cleaned we recommend a service that has a certified truck mounted machine. We are able to refer you if needed. Certified Truck Mounted Carpet Cleaning Machines are able to extract out what they put in the carpet. Smaller machines that you can rent from a box store isn’t recommended. They cannot extract out all the water and soap suds, leaving your carpet exposed to getting dirtier faster. Spot treatment cleaning we recommend; Folex (Amazon) and Spot Shot (King Soopers). You’ll want to test it in a small area, to make sure it won’t discolor the carpet. You spray the area you want cleaned, wait a few minutes, then BLOT the spot with a white towel. Do not rub it in. Repeat as necessary.

When deciding my budget, what factors should I expect to be included in the overall price?

When starting a carpet project, deciding on budget can feel like a guessing game. Often times, big box stores will tell you that certain parts of installation or pad are “free”. Be aware, this typically means that they have marked the carpet up to include these fees so you feel like you are getting a better deal. At Weaver Carpets, we are not only wholesale to the public, but we are also transparent about all items that are included in your overall price. Items that you may not want to do yourself that are important to factor into your budget can include the following: demo/haul away of the old flooring, moving of furniture, etc. To be sure you are considering everything that needs to be done to complete your carpet project, here is a list you can refer to. •Carpet Cost per square yard or square foot •Price of pad •Installation Cost •Demo/Haul Away •Moving Furniture •Number of stairs (if applicable), and if the stairs are upholstered.
